About Me

Hello, I'm Selim 👋

As a guide living in Skopje, instead of just showing the city "like a tourist", I love telling the story of Skopje to make you fall in love with it. Sometimes it's a street story, sometimes a coffee break, or stopping at the perfect photo spot to truly feel the city… That's the flavor of my tours.

I have many years of experience working in international corporate companies. That tempo, discipline, and the aspect of "understanding people" helps me greatly in guiding today: Time management, planning, attention to detail… But most importantly: shaping the tour according to the rhythm of whoever is with me.

What's in these tours?

Here is what you can expect from me: clear narration, practical tips, great routes, and a "sincere but organized" flow. We make the perfect start together for someone visiting Skopje for the first time.

  • City Stories (history included, but concise, memorable, and not boring)
  • Photo Spots (recommendations for the right angle + right time)
  • Food & Drink (local tastes, not tourist traps)
  • Transport & Safety (where to buy tickets, safe zones, what to watch out for)
  • Route Planning (like a 1-day / 2-day / 3-day Skopje plan)

My Style

Not a crowded "robotic tour"; it's more like traveling with a friend. But when it comes to business (schedule, time, plan), I am very clear on that too. I don't like exhausting tempos; let's enjoy the moment while exploring and living the city.

In short: Why tour with me?

  • The "most accurate start" routes for your first day in Skopje
  • Real local suggestions (food, coffee, desserts, hidden gems)
  • A sincere narration where you won't hesitate to ask questions
  • Route planning support after the tour if you wish (WhatsApp / message)

Frequently Asked Questions

• How long do the tours last?

Usually 2–3 hours. It can stretch depending on the weather and group tempo.

• How does the Free Walking Tour work?

There is no upfront fee. If you enjoy it, you can leave a tip at the end of the tour. Tipping is completely voluntary.

• Tour language?

My native language is Turkish. I can also provide support in English if needed.

If you are coming to Skopje, instead of figuring out "where to start, what to do" one by one, let's make a quick start together. Then, the city is yours. 🙂
